ummm...
US tanks are designed to operate in open fields.

take for example in 1941, Rommel of Germany defeated British troops in North Africa with tanks. The largest tank battle was fought at Kursk in 1943, in which the Soviets defeated Germans. In 1973, Egypt defeated Israeli tanks with anti-tank missiles. All of these tank battles were fought in open fields. The Gulf War and the recent war in Iraq saw US tanks in open fields.

So every war we haved used tanks in has been open fields, except vietnam... and we know how useful tanks were then lol

well if you dont know all the tanks did was break down cause they couldnt handle the terrain. my dad was a tank mechanic in vietnam, i know this as a fact.

American and Western tank commanders do not know how to fight tank battles in rugged terrains... so not only is the actual tank useless out of open fields, the leaders are inept too
