Yeah and then that person who doesn't have health insurance breaks their leg, gets an infection, (go with it) and then can't afford the medication, they make a trip to the emergency room where they don't have to pay anything.
Ridiculous.
I don't care how many of them their are because the way the system in this country works, you can NOT be turned away from the emergency room (except in a few states where they
encourage you to pay, like in Massachusetts I believe) and people without health insurance take advantage of that all the time.
It costs thousands and thousands of dollars which raises....
Sorry. I got carried away there.
My point is, people just need to get the health insurance. They're only hurting themselves and the SCOTUS declared the mandate was legal along with everything else.
Just get the health insurance.
