I quite liked the
Cattle In The Cane clip you posted, Xurtio, and for me, slower means better when it comes to bluegrass, as I find I quickly tire of that hectic picking style. A little bluegrass makes a good contrast between other, more leisurely material, but I don`t like every song to sound like a race against the clock. Doc Watson used to get the balance about right, imo. ( More on him here if you are interested:

Can`t come up with anything to match LPete`s extraodinary selection; in fact I can only add a name you must know already; Béla Fleck, who dilutes pure bluegrass with so many other elements that it sometimes isn`t bluegrass at all. In this clip, though, he stays close to the traditional sound, and is accompanied by Jerry Douglas. (More on
