I do not have statistics as to whether or not or what percentage of the estimated 1.5 million kids in the US are not taught about the Holocaust but the principle reason given for homeschooling is " a desire to provide religious or moral instruction (36 percent of students)".

That's very true but this woman is obviously educated. After all, she's a carer. So it's not like she had some sort of sheltered upbringing or didn't go to school. She's reasonably intelligent from what I know of her. This has just shocked me. My sis originally said "death camps" and she didn't know what she meant, so she said, "You know: concentration camps" and she said "What's that?"
