I'll admit they've grown on me though, since it was pointed out I listen to plenty of other very similar artists. Sometimes I miss hating them, it made me special.
Any other band I hate isn't irrational, I just straight up I don't like how they sound.

I always rationalized my hatred for Metallica, for various reasons. Even though I hate the band I don't hate every member. I have respect for Kirk Hammett as an artist, but I can't stand James H or Lars U.
