do you think that someone who makes $20,000,000/yr needs to keep 70% of that? Why not take an extra 5-10% from them (they will hardly notice it) and disperse that break to people who cant even afford a place to live?

Hardly notice it? Money is money, this tax bracket stuff is stupid.
A rich person (generally) is rich because either them or someone in their family worked hard for there money. Now taking money from them and giving it to someone on welfare is plain
wrong, how is that hard to understand? If you worked 40-60 hours a week and atleast 10% (which is the lowest amount that can be taken from your income, atleast in AZ), 4-6 hours of what you just worked would goto the government. They'd waste it on some stupid social program and thus you just worked 4-6 hours for nothing.
