This is one of the last Black Flag albums I need to buy! I recently stumbled upon the track, drinking and driving, and I was digging the guitar! But something I tend to not love about the later era Black Flag is how repetitive Henry gets. This shows up (in my opinion) on Loose Nut, quite a bit. And don't get me wrong! I love Loose Nut!! I think it's my second favorite Henry album! Behind My War. And even with that one I don't love the last three songs. Once again it just feels so repetitive! I think that they had gotten into the grove of writing 1 and a half to 2 minutes of lyrics, and they stuck to that later, but stretched out that small amount of material for 3 or 4 or sometimes 5 minutes. My favorite moments with Henry are during the first several tracks on My War. I prefer these over all other Black Flag songs of this era because it feels like a performance rather than a somewhat scripted piece of music.
