I don't see how that makes me ignorant or a prick. If I hear a lot about someone that I haven't listened to, I'll go and check out their hit singles to get a taste of what they're like. If I don't like what I hear, I stop and move on. And that's how I am with Bob Marley. "One Love" and "Three Little Birds" are good songs, but they're not my cup of tea. It didn't keep me interested enough to continue listening to his other stuff.
You just can't expect people to go through an artist's entire discography before they can form an opinion. It's unrealistic.
