I love both albums as well, but I feel like 'Disintegration' is more consistent. I also don't think it's just good for bad break ups, its great whenever you're feeling a bit under the weather, whether its due to loneliness, rejection, failure, or just general depression. Robert Smith's lyrics can be easily interpreted to any situation. While the feelings of The Queen is Dead are also really relateable, the lyrics are usually much more specific. Morrissey is a very intricate and practiced writer and he wouldn't be writing a song if he didn't know exactly what he was writing about. Still, songs like There Is A Light, I Know It's Over, Bigmouth Strikes Again, and Some Girls are Bigger than Others are absolutely terrific. I almost think that Louder than Bombs is better than TQID, but that's a different debate entirely.

Anyway, I'm a vote for Disintegration.
