I don't thinik you fear religion, i think you fear how you'll be perceived if you like something religious.
People think religious people are closed-minded, prejudicial *******s, and if you step to close to pro-religion you're afraid you'll be judged like that, not in the open where you could defend it, behind your back where you are just left alone to die.
