I'm doing a training course at the moment, and there are two main things about it that are bugging the hell out of me.
1) Most people on it are older, and have a "everything was better in the old days" attitude. "Bloody kids these days....", "No respect any more", "In the good old days" and many other treats. This annoys me greatly. Generally, pro-retro attitudes and a belief that everything would have just been fine and dandy had they been born forty years ago bug the crap out of me.
The only reason the older women there think this is because they are scared of change. I've listened to them ramble on for four days now and this is almost definitely the case. And younger folk who will subscribe to the belief that everything used to be better are likely just naive and idealising.
2) Two women on this course talk very, very loudly. They more shout than they do speak. They also happen to talk pretty much constantly, interrupt the teacher, derail the lesson, go off on tangents, disrupt, and also interrupt everyone else in the class AND each other. One of them also happens to laugh at everything that comes out of her mouth, whether it was a joke or not.
I'm a ticking time bomb in that class. There's no way I'm gonna last over another week.
