Somewhere else on this forum I posted this "comparison," but it really should have gone here, on ppg. 65-66 or so. I won't bother naming the contest or declaring my winner.
But as I said in the other post, I'm fairly convinced McCartney was imitating the BB song, which had come out about a month before McCartney wrote HTAE.
