What? She's the Joker's sidekick. How are you going to introduce a character whose entire purpose is to be obsessed with the Joker without him even being in the movie? Besides, you wouldn't even be introducing Ivy, the bat**** crazy eco-terrorist,
and Harley Quinn. You'd be introducing the comic book version of Thelma and Louise without any real context for either character. It would be painful.
