Dogs is good, no doubt,
but,
A little bit drawn out
to,
make the final cut.
I praise pigs prowess,
packs a pleasing political punch,
placating poor people with powerful punky punts.
Although I like all three
quite fairly equally
I feel I must concede
that it just might be
Sheep.
On second thought, I have to go with
Dogs. It is much more memorable; I can recall pretty much all of the guitar and lyrics despite not hearing it for several months. The only line I remember from Sheep is "
bleating and babbling he fell on his neck with a scream. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream" which IS an awesome line....it echoes of the way Roger describes light in
Echoes: "...
and through the window in the wall, come streaming in on sun-lit wings, a million bright ambassadors of morning". Can't deny Roger Waters' lyrical talent!
But everyone knows Gilmour is the better musician (even though I like Roger Waters more)
