it's designed to sell to people who don't know their heads from their asses. Mass-produced with computers instead of real musicians, auto-tune instead of true harmonies... just trash. It's not even music anymore. Saying that modern pop music is "music" is like saying that fast food is "food" just because it's seemingly edible.
