one of my exes used to call me a "hipster" just because I collect records (sorry for having an emotional connection to different types of music and a genuine love for vinyl) and wear thick glasses (I'm blind and my face is just shaped better by plastics).

people are really stupid.

from your list:

Quote:
Jazz
Beanies
PBR
Serious girlfriends
Record collections
Bookshelves
Scarves
Mustaches
Beards
Poetry
Old technology
Glasses
These are all commonplace things!! Why do people feel a need to put a label on everything these days? ****.

Anyone who doesn't find these things to be normal parts of everyday life, but uses that to try to make people think they're somehow ~different~ or unique are the type I usually call "try-hards" but that's because they are.
