Yes, but they sound nothing like their earlier material. If Euronymous was still alive he'd probably still be the focal point of the band and they wouldn't have released anything nearly as interesting. Whether you like
Grand Declaration of War or not it's still more interesting then
De Mysteriis.
And I love
Deathcrush. Norwegian black metal can be very hit or miss with me, and that whole Mayhem/Darkthrone sound just isn't my favorite thing in the world. But eighties black metal is fantastic. Bathory is possibly my favorite band of all time, and
Deathcrush is totally an eighties black metal album. Besides, how can you not like a song called "Chainsaw Guts****"?

Though, I ultimately wish neither died, I think I'm more content with the way things actually panned out because if Euronymous lived, I couldn't imagine what he could've possibly gotten himself into later. Also, what Varg could've gotten into if he wasn't arrested for Euronymous' death, since they were planning on blowing up some church with 150 kg of explosives, or at least were rumored to. An act like that would have been horrible, and would've probably harmed the Black Metal scene quite a lot more in the eyes of the media and others. Making it much more taboo to be any sort of fan of the music. As well as making my discovery and appreciation for my favourite sub-genre of Metal to listen to that much more unlikely to happen.

The church burnings were already well underway when all that **** hit the fan. Not to mention that Faust from Emperor killed that guy
before Varg killed Euronymous. And that's pretty much how black metal became known. They had some albums, but it wasn't until Varg's trial for arson (not for murder, that was later) that black metal really became known to the world at large. So I imagine a large part of BM's original appeal was the craziness.
