This record is easily going to be in my top 10 favorites released this year. It blends pop-punk and emo so seamlessly, the melodies are upbeat and bright, and maybe it's because I'm kind of the same way, I think the lyrics are the best part of the album. They are dry, self-deprecating, sarcastic, and at least to me, extremely relatable. The vocals are emotive, but they never go over the top for the sake of being over the top. The only thing that I might say is that the drummer should sing more, I mean his injection into "Your Graduation," which is also on the top of my list for favorite song of the year, is one of the best parts of the album. Sports showed so much promise and I think this delivered everything I expected and more. 5/5
