They're there to protect us. Never forget that. Your government loves you and wants what's best for you. Your safety is their prime concern. And terrorists are a dangerous threat. Terrorists would see us all dead if they could. Because they hate our freedom.
Or maybe they hate us because our governments interfere with their countries by installing tinpot puppet dictators, by imposing sanctions, by giving them loans they know they can never repay, by marching in foreign armies, by employing any means possible to steal their natural wealth. Nah. It's cos they hate our freedom.
