The clones were one of the things that bothered me the most about the new trilogy. I've heard people try to explain away the retcons, but they clearly retconned this. Back in the books clones had some kind of thing going on that disturbed the force, so Jedi could actually sense them. No mention of this was ever made in the new movies.
