We both spelled it wrong. That's hilarious.

Speaking of songs that are just the essential ones, greatest hit albums has a great deal to be talked about. Like when you go and try a new band through their greatest hits, you often cannot find a song that you might have liked more than those that are the most popular. Iron Maiden has a song I don't believe that you can find on a compilation: Flash of the Blade - my favorite track by them!
So, in closing, you cannot fathom just how much good stuff will be missing if you only buy particular tracks... Thank you for reading

I've never liked buying greatest hits albums. For me, most of the time it would be a waste of money because 90% of the time, if I'm interested in a band enough to feel like buying a greatest hits, I usually just skip that and listen to the key albums.
If I'm not that interested in a band, I'll buy a couple of songs and be done with it.
Oh and just so we are clear, more than 90% of the time I buy full albums. Recently, there's so much music I want to listen to I tend to buy digital just because it's easier/faster, but I like the CD for the quality, even if I don't directly care about the quality of my music. I learned that listening to the full album yields you finding songs that you would have never found if you had just bought a greatest hits album. I learned that with bands like Daft Punk that have a lot of different songs on their albums and I know a lot of songs that most Daft Punk listeners have no clue about. Also, there's some "greatest hits" songs by Daft Punk that I think are absolute crap, yet songs that are no where near as popular that I love and adore and I attribute that to listening to the full albums. /end ridiculously long tangent.
