maybe it has to do with the fact that i saw it as a kid and really shook my world at the time.....rewatched it recently as i was burning a copy for my 16 year old nephew....and it really holds up in my mind

I watched the entire series. I found myself underwhelmed by this one. The first film is a horror classic though, nothing will prepare someone for what they see the first time.
