i used to walk my daughter everyday to her headstart and i always made sure she walked on the side of the sidewalk further away from the street cause i know a car accident can happen when you least expect it, in fact i have a friend who nearly lost his life cause a drunk driver ran into the sidewalk but he came up from behind so my friend had no time to react..
ever since he told me that story im always cautious even if im just walking on the sidewalk, especially with emily, i even have an emergency plan on my head that if a car is gonna hit us i would grab her and toss her so she won't get hit..
