De Mysteriis or early as in
Deathcrush? I'm really more of an eighties black metal fan. When the Norwegian stuff is good it's great, but it's pretty hit or miss with me, and
De Mysteriis is only sort of hit. But
Deathcrush is one of my favorite black metal albums of all time.
