This is by no means an amazing year for me, but I dig pretty much every album on this list, save for the last two. My second favourite
Dylan album, the awesome jazzy exploits of
Coltrane and
Cherry, THAT
SJH song and undisputed classics from the
Beach Boys and
The Beatles. But lets be real here, nothing is going to top
Freak Out!. I think this was probably my introduction to
Frank Zappa, and I can't over-state how important a moment that was in my musical history. Phenomenal stuff.
