That means this same arguement was said about Elvis and it was a well known fact.
Jackie was friends with Elvis so he would say something like that. Jackie respected all his peers and never bad mouth anybody really.
Elvis however never opened his mouth to say what he copied and imitated from Jackie Wilson.
Elvis was in the back wings watching and studying Jackie. There is proof that he went to his shows so this means nothing.
