Skillet is one of my favorite Christian Rock groups. Favorite album from them is Collide, but I like everything from them, all the way back to their s/t album. I have to say that their last two releases, Awake and Rise didn't really appeal to me terribly much...just too 'safe' sounding. I did like a few songs from both of them though. Skillet is not Metal though. They've ranged from a sort of a Electronic stylized rock on earlier releases, and these days have a more symphonic stylized hard rock sound. Not really a true symphonic sound though, but close enough.

I like Red as well. Haven't really ever been disappointed by them. Their second album, Innocence and Instinct is still my favorite from them. Great stuff.

And yeah. Let's not talk about POD haha.
