^ Blowfly is the only one that comes to my mind at the moment. Some of his stuff is soul/funk and the rest is pretty much all over the musical map. He even did a punk album of cover songs. The quality of the musicianship ranges from quite good to cringe-worthy, depending on who he was working with at the time.
