I'll have to check this out!

WITCH CHARMER - THE GREAT DEPRESSION (2014)
Recent years has seen a wealth of female-fronted doom and stoner bands. It's been a couple of years since I first saw Witch Charmer and have eagerly awaited a first full-length record. Today they made available a
stream of the record, soon to be released on Argonauta records.
I'm not disappointed at all. Solid, riffy, traditional doom/occult-rock. Sounds great and suggests plenty of potential.

MAYBESHEWILL - FAIR YOUTH (2014)
On first listen I'd say it sounds that Maybeshewill are comfortably fitting into a more melodious, electro-post-rock with this, their fourth record, which feels like a continuation of their previous attempt, rather than the riffy post-metal of the debut and, to a lesser extent, the follow-up.
It maybe didn't completely grip me but I did enjoy it and expect further listens to confirm that.

CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX - WHITE LIGHT GENERATOR (2014)
I was ever so concerned about this record, what with their new singer. I had feared it would be a big step down. I needn't have worried. It's still melodic, spacey, prog-rock, and it's still beautiful.
