On a related note I gotta say though, no matter how pretentious they might be, arty folk can still make statements that your more straightforward artists are often incapable of. Also, as legitimately creepy as "Hamburger Lady" is, "Slug Bait" definitely wins. How you can come up with that and not be just a little bit serial killery I can only speculate.

I'd imagine it was returned to record stores quite regularly by irate jazz funk fans. I think what's creepiest is that the album cover photo, as innocent as it looks, was taken at one of Britain's most notorious suicide hotspots.
