Mercedes Benz from Janis Joplin, Oh Death from Ralph Stanley...And Bjorks Medula album had little or no instruments at all.

And what in the hell are you talking about?...30 people playing with Computers?...Public Enemy were 2 rappers, 1 DJ and 2 or 3 producers, Run DMC were just 2 rappers and a DJ...And some rap groups do play their own instruments.

The Beastie Boys play their own instruments, THE ROOTS play their own instruments, Andre 3000 has played several instruments for Outkast, Public Enemy and Ice T have used backing bands on some occasions.
