That Myrkur album is great.
Dama/Libra - Claw
I'm going through Northern Spy's artists since I haven't been disappointed by them yet and I came across these guys. The album cover is a good representation of what it sounds like: dark ambient with some neofolk tinges. It's a collaboration between Joel RL Phelps of Silkworm and Downer Trio and G. Stuart Dahlquist of Sunn O))), Goatsnake, and Burning Witch. This album sounds like Roger Waters (I make this comparison because of the vocals) if he went on an ambient route and wasn't so far up his ass. The singer kind of sounds like him and his use of intervals are similar. An interesting listen, to say the least. I like it to a degree but I think it's going to take a few more listens before I let my opinion fully sink in.
