BTW, did you hear Avey Tare's "Slasher Flicks" band's album that came out earlier this year? I listened to it a few times but my reaction was "meh." It reminded me of an Avey Tare-version of PB's
Tomboy, which was OK but very conventional compared to
Person Pitch. So I didn't bother buying it. Can't help but wonder if these guys do better when they get together as a band. The only solo album so far that's been a real standout has been
Person Pitch.
