Yes I read what you said but was just simply clarifying that I only used the RHOF as an example of a lot of the discredit the genre gets in the industry.
Award shows like MTV or even VH1 have international spin offs. In most countries the music scene is very similiar to what it is in America. Now of course I am not insisting ALL countries are but if you look at chart positions in other countries and album sells in other countries it is very much the same.
The music industry does not praise Disco or recognizes it instead they recognize gimmicky groups like KISS.
