I'm starting to wonder if Musgrave got a bad rep because of him. Perhaps those end-around's are literally the only thing ponder could do?
I think we'll be ready to go next week. We clearly aren't a good enough team to win without ideal game planning. If we can stay .500 till the halfway, the second half looks to be much easier.

Musgrave isn't great, but he was good at randomizing his play-calling and not establishing tendencies. I'd call it conservative, which is good if you have a defensive powerhouse, but that obviously wasn't the case. He failed to adapt, and I think that shows more than enough of what kind of a coordinator he is.
I think Ponder, if anything, was made for his kind of conservative passing system. Very few deep passes, lots of screens, and even then Ponder had a tough time establishing any sort of rhythm other than briefly in two separate stints back in 2012.
