I respect vegetarianism, but don't pretend like you can replace a burger with a mushroom and not be settling. Regardless of which you like better a fungus or a vegetable is never going to taste as good as meat
when you're preparing it like you would meat. This is one thing I find annoying about vegetarians. They seem completely unwilling to admit that they're losing anything taste-wise by not eating meat. It shouldn't matter, so quit trying so hard. You're like atheists who insist on seeing atheism as some emotionally fulfilling philosophy just cause they want everything about it to be better than religion in all possible ways.
