10. Ronald Shannon Jackson - Barbeque Dog
9. Cocteau Twins - Head Over Heels
8. Alan Vega - Saturn Strip
7. Bad Brains - Rock for Light
6. R.E.M. - Murmur
5. King Kurt - Ooh Wallah Wallah
4. Circle Jerks - Golden Shower of Hits
3. Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes
2. Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones
1. The Chameleons - Script of the Bridge

Some albums just take repeated listens before they completely make sense, and end up becoming a personal favourite. Scrips of the Bridge is certainly one of them. I always thought it was good, but once it sinks in, it's something quite special. Probably my favourite Waits and R.E.M. albums. Femmes kicking asses. Ooh Wallah Wallah is a fantastic rockabilly album too. And #10 is also a pretty overlooked Jazz Fusion record.
