I don't get it... What causes peaceful people to listen to music with violent lyrics? If I were to judge myself, I would label myself as a humble and peaceful person. But I listen to Eminem, ICP, Twiztid, Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, and a bunch of musicians who swear a lot. Why would I do that? Well, as a human being, sometimes I feel angry. But I also listen to these musicians when I'm not feeling angry. Why? To escape the norm... Can you imagine how boring life would be if musicians did not use profanity? Can you imagine how boring life would be if musicians did not talk about violence?
