It might be kind of laborious and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would have a hard time with a couple genres but...
A 'Best Posts in [GENRE]' award might be cool. Like, each genre of the music forum has to have a member or two who stand out for their contributions. Why not award them? 'Best Posts in Hip-Hop/Rap', 'Best Posts in Rock/Metal', etc. Similar idea for the Media section- 'Best Taste in Books', 'Best Taste in Movies', 'Best Taste in Television'... something like that.
