i was on the highway and about to switch lanes and so i signaled cause there was a car in the other lane a little ways behind me. signaled basically just to let them know as a courtesy. instead of accepting my generous acknowledgement of their existence dude decides to try to speed up to stop me from getting in front of him. i switch lanes anyway because he's not fast enough and i feel like i've already done my duty as a citizen in giving him the heads up. due to his acceleration he comes close to hitting me and then gets mad and beeps his horn as if i cut him off. i smile in victory and fantasize about running him off the road and putting him in a wheelchair that just doesn't quite go fast enough for the rest of his life just for being a worked up petty mother****er.
