I bought a baby gate to keep the cat contained in the living room and kitchen (which are attached to the entryway). It's too small. At first I figured the width of the entryway (both the front door and the entry to the living room) is so large to accommodate people with disabilities, but every other entrance in the apartment is significantly smaller so I really don't know what kind of logic went into designing this place.
