Like Pamela says in the video I posted, it was just the new thing at the time. Those rock stars had been touring and sampling the older teen groupies for years already. And then in 1973 this magazine came out of nowhere as a basic advertisement for really young girls that wanted to hook up with musicians. This is the magazine that Maddox is talking about modeling in. You can see her picture above the article below.
