10. Jeru the Damaja - The Sun Rises in the East
9. The Auteurs - Now I'm a Cowboy
8. Beck - Mellow Gold
7. Method Man - Tical
6. Beastie Boys - Ill Communication
5. Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 - Strangers From the Universe
4. Oasis - Definitely Maybe
3. Groundwork - Today We Will Not Be Invisible Nor Silent
2. Drive Like Jehu - Yank Crime
1. Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

Hmmm... A good year I suppose, but I think the last three or four years were quite a bit better from where I stand. That said, I do like all of these albums a lot. There's not really any surprises on here, though my #3 is pretty obscure - and totally hardcore and shit. Oasis take their rightful place near the top of the list, and my favourite Fall cover band takes home the prize.
