I can't say I personally know anyone who "hates" music, although I know many of them aren't into it as passionately as I am. In other words, they like going to clubs, dancing, etc. and that's about it. They could care less about the history of a particular band or artist. I very much enjoy learning about them any way possible. After all, I don't call myself a "Musicwhore" for nothing (
