I hated the trilogy, actually. I was expecting the last album to be good, since they claimed it was a return to the origins, but it was quite bad too.
I did however loved the 20th Century Breakdown one though (I even bought a T-shirt of it :v) I love conceptual albums like that though.
I found it to be superior to American Idiot, at least.
