i work like crazy over the weekend for 3 days straight, 12 hours a day of staying hyper on caffeine with booze sessions and about 4 hours sleep in between each day. then i basically hibernate for a really long time on monday. then the rest of the week i have a normal 8 hr type sleeping schedule.
i don't understand laziness or depression tbh. i mean i can relate to laziness more than depression but at the same time i feel like after i've been lazy for too long i get anxious to get up and do something.
with depression i do understand that it's just some chemical imbalance in the brain but for whatever reason my gut still feels like telling depressed people to just snap out of it cause they're usually depressed over **** that isn't really that big of a deal to me. and even when it is a big deal i feel like there's no sense in dwelling on it.
for instance my cousin tried to commit suicide, and i really sort of looked down on her for it, cause to me she grew up in the suburbs and had a comfortable life and any problem she had probably wasn't actually all that bad to me. i know telling depressed people snap out of it wouldn't work, so it's not like i'm saying that. it's just always my first instinct. probably because i don't have the chemical imbalance and can't relate to it.
