Mario Bros - So a lot of people know Super Mario. But who remembers Mario Bros? Kill the bad guys who come out of the pipes. Co-op mode. This game was awesome, and difficult.
Werewolf: The Last Warrior - One of the lesser known side scrollers. I had fun being able to climb walls and transform. Just the idea of playing a bada$$ werewolf was so awesome to me when I was 7.
