Sunny Day In Glasgow - Shut Your Mouth It's Christmas
TIME TO GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT YO! Sorry about that, but I felt it was needed. So the new Sunny Day In Glasgow single came out and it had this Christmas song in store for us, and it's awesome to say in the least. It completely retains there style the very dream pop, shoe gaze orientated sound they've been known for, but in a Christmas style. Lyrically it's not what you'd think from a song called Shut Your Mouth It's Christmas, it's actually a sweet song and does the whole Christmas thing justice. Musically I couldn't ask for more in a Christmas song, I mean listen for yourself it completely encapsulates the sound I think of using orchestral chimes, heavily layered keyboards (to be honest it sounds like a modern representation of a Phil Spector wall of sound type of production). So for my first day to kick of the Christmas season just Shut Your Mouth and listen to this song (really not sorry about that one).
