Such a good year. The best album from several artists are on display here, namely Built to Spill, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, Ween, Squarepusher, and Mosue on Mars. Pavement's
Brighten the Corners doesn't often come up when talking about their best releases, but it's my second favorite. The Misfits' would-be debut album
Static Age was recorded in 1978 but not released as a whole, on its own until 1997. Obviously it deserves a spot here. Plaid and Faith No More also released great albums this year - unfortunately FNM's last (until the forthcoming reunion album in 2015).
