^That is a great album. I love Connors' unique guitar work; it's one of my favourite folk records outside of Simon & Garfunkel.
Half Japanese - 1/2 Beast/Not Gentlemen
The 2013 rerelease of this 1980 album has a lot of extra tracks. I had heard this album before and returned to this after it didn't do much for me, but my opinions turned around now. The sound is a raw garage punk thing that sounds quite a bit like something Jandek would do if they had a better and more exciting singer. It should be noted that I'm a big fan of ole Janny-D so that's high praise. This is some cool sh
